How to sell your books to us

If you have books you wish to sell, we’re always interested in taking a look. We aim to take on books that align with our aim of connecting people with books they love. For this reason we tend to buy books with a story and depending on what stock we need at any given time. If you have books, you wish to sell to us, please contact us via our contact page and if possible include a photo of the book spines. This will help us determine if these are books that we would like to sell to our customers (this will also save you carrying around books unnecessarily).

If you have a large quantity of books or a deceased estate, we would be very happy to organise a visit to assess your collection.

If you are unsure, whether we will buy your books, it is always best to reach out we can have a quick chat.

How much we pay.

We generally pay 30% of our intended sale price for most books.

Our intention is that you get 30%, we get 30% and the remaining 40% goes to the cost of running our business.

Donate

We welcome book donations from those who would prefer not to sell their books. As space is limited, we’re only able to accept donations where there is a reasonable quantity of saleable material.

Any books that aren’t suitable for resale will be thoughtfully passed on to local charities, ensuring they continue to be enjoyed.
