Signed and inscribed first edition hardcover of Sons of the Rumour by Australian novelist David Foster, published by Picador / Pan Macmillan Australia in 2009. An ambitious and critically regarded work of contemporary Australian literary fiction, and an increasingly uncommon signed example from a major national author.
The book is in good condition: binding firm and square; pages clean and bright; very minor foxing to the top edge and light toning consistent with the paper stock. Slight front hinge wear. Boards show minimal handling wear only. The dust jacket is very good, with light general shelf wear and minor surface rubbing; no tears or price clipping. Colours remain strong and the jacket presents very well overall.
